This is a cover designed to replace cheap MK8 dual extruder assemblies found on Geeetech or eBay at discounted prices. The affordable cost ($60-$90 for a dual assembly) and low-cost 6mm nozzles (available on eBay or Banggood for under $0.50 each, compared to the $12 Monoprice or Flashforge replacement options) make these extruders highly appealing. As a result, nozzle clogs are significantly reduced since you can simply replace the nozzle with a new one if it becomes clogged. The design features an M3 screw socket for securing fan and stepper wires in place. However, the STL model is currently oriented on its side; it's essential to print it flat for optimal functionality.
