I've modified the extruder assembly to accommodate the cooler for MK8, incorporating a lead plate that directs air under the nozzle. Note, however, that some new MK8 extruders feature ribs on both sides of the heatsink, necessitating a rotation of 90 degrees and drilling a fresh hole for the screw. To ensure smooth operation, avoid using support material when assembling. Adjusting the two M3 bolts to a length of 45 instead of their standard 35 will facilitate a solid fit.
