MK7 Stepstruder Filament Drive Block

The initial printable version of MakerBot's MK7 filament drive block was developed with the aim to make its filament drive part printable. However, it proved impractical for mass production and was subsequently converted to injection molding, resulting in the current MK7. This single-piece block prints well on an MK6 and performs even better on an MK7. It features dual filament inlet channels and can be modified for various applications. The model is provided in both SolidWorks format and STL output for easy use. Notable design elements include 'mouse ears' on the corners that enhance adhesion while remaining easy to remove, and tiny hole slots that integrate holes into the outer shell, creating a visually appealing bolt hole. For usage, follow the same procedures as a standard filament drive block.
