I recently acquired a Freaks3D Printer and discovered that printing with flexible filament (TPU) was quite a challenge. The TPU filament transport system had a tendency to jam very frequently due to the filament wrapping around the bearing, which would result in failed prints. To overcome this issue, I created a new guide for the printer, designed to better support the filament and provide a smoother print process. In addition, I upgraded the drive gear to this particular one: http://www.ebay.com/itm/301774091093?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT Technical specifications for the new drive gear include: Outside diameter: 12mm Length: 13mm Inside diameter (shaft): 5mm Pitch: 0.5mm Effective diameter: 10.5mm Material: Stainless steel Fortunately, since implementing these changes, I've experienced no further jamming issues. Regarding the printer settings, it's essential to adjust the retraction distance to 0mm when using Cura. Additionally, users may want to secure the M6 filament exit screw with threads to prevent any issues. The complete design files for FreeCAD and OpenSCAD are available for download and modification as needed. Some notable print settings I've found effective include: Rafts: Yes Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 100% Speed: 60mm/s
