This accessory attaches to your MK7 extruder's mounting plate, enabling the installation of two 30mm cooling fans on either side. Designed for non-traditional configurations, it might require modifications for a standard Thingamabob setup. The fans cool both the printed plastic and the part itself. Attach the mount to the plate using two self-threading screws from above. The attached Autodesk 2012 files include an assembly file. Should you need other formats, feel free to request, and I'll upload them if possible. The design assumes a 1-inch space between the nozzle bottom and the mounting plate. Upon receiving a replacement stepper driver, I'll proceed with printing. If you open the files in Inventor, it may appear as a sheet metal part; however, this doesn't affect STL generation. After printing, please share photos, and feel free to offer suggestions for improvement. You can even make the changes yourself and update the design if desired.
