mk7 extruder - plastic replacement part - should be milled with 3-axis cnc-router

This file replaces the mk7 plastic extruder feed housing, featuring material guidance up to the metal rod and beyond the original design's limit of the rotating metal screw-like wheel. The newer MK8 models already possess this feature. The housing is milled from pom and works well with flexible materials due to its material guidance. This documentation dates back to summer 2013, but it is recommended to get a MK8 kit from Makerbot for improved spring-loaded drive ease in filament changing. Thingiverse offers the latest MK8 remixes with closed bottoms for use with flexible materials, and most of them accommodate the old MK7-diameter gears after geometry adjustment. Original MK7 and MK8 designs can be found on Thingiverse with links provided. The milling process requires POM material, a 3-axis CNC machine for a two-sided job, and uses a 3mm shaft for roughing, followed by a 3mm ballhead for re-roughing/pre-finishing, and finally a 1mm ballhead for finishing.
