Mk5 bearing retainer

Mk5 bearing retainer

thingiverse

The Plastruder Mk5 on my Thing-O-Matic had a loose bearing which would fall out due to vibrations. To fix this issue in just 30 minutes, print the provided OpenSCAD part and attach it over the bearing using the four holes with captive nuts from the instructions. The oversized holes allow easy M3 screw passage, while the thin design requires 1.0 infill during printing for optimal performance. This simple fix should only take the next person 10 minutes to implement.
