Here is a Pen Mount (for example Stabilo point 88) specifically designed for use with the E3D v5 Carrier. To successfully integrate this component, you'll need to first print the 04_cover_plate_e3d_v5 model in order to create a mounting platform for the holder. Once that's accomplished, all you have to do is mount the unit, add your chosen pen, load a 2D gcode file, and then start plotting your desired design.
