prusaprinters
This is a MK4 inspired Y-Carriage for the Anycubic i3 Mega S.As I needed a tensioner for my Y-axis, had printed too many parts for my MK4 X-Carriage anyways, I designed a MK4 inspired Y-Carriage for my Mega S.You will need the 06_Belt_Tensioner.stl and the 09_Belt_Clip.stl from here: thingiverse.com/thing:3537449Thanks, ML3DPrinting, for this great project! If you have an insulated bed, you are fine to print this in PLA. However, if you have no insulation, you better print in PETG, ABS or ASA. And a note from my own painful experience: If you have your printer enclosed, DEFINITELY print in ABS or ASA!Aditional hardware:2x M3x14or2x M3x16 depending on your setup and Belt length2x M3Sx4 Threaded Brass Inserts (the short ones)3x M4Sx4 Threaded Brass Inserts (the short ones - although the normal M4x8.1 could work here aswell but that's not tested)Make sure to fasten the Y-carriage thoghrouly to the bed as it has a very low clearance to the printer base. For me, that was just 0.5mm. Make sure the M4 Brass inserts (the 3 on the top) do not protrude the top.Have fun and please post your makes.Print SettingsPrinter Brand:AnycubicPrinter: i3 Mega S/ProRafts:NoSupports: YesResolution:0.2Infill: 100%Filament: Any Any Any Category: 3D Printer Parts
