MK3S+ Vibration Isolation Feet
prusaprinters

As part of my Lack Enclosure Build for my new MK3S+ I wanted to isolate printer vibration from the table top and reduce noise.

I purchased these stick-on isolation feet on Amazon (35 Durometer).
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08FD7QMP7/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I initially wanted to print these... but the feet I purchased were too large (1.2" advertised).
https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3496474
His writeup is very thorough/informative and is a great reference.

I chose to create my own design which included outboard supports on the front of printer to provide additional stability.

I used 12x m3x10 screws and 12x drop-in m3 3030 nuts. I ordered them from Amazon, you'll need to order 2x packs to do all the feet.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07L11N2WV/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I have not printed anything very tall yet so I can't report the affect on stability. The reduction in noise is night and day since the Lack tabletop acts as a speaker cone.
