MK3S R6 extruder body with MR105zz support
prusaprinters
I made this because I'm using a custom 3D-printed Nema 17 reduction (https://www.printables.com/model/265557-nema-17-geared-reduction) and I've noticed that this introduces some slop to the gear shaft. Mostly due to cheap 625zz bearings and metal rod that isn't exactly 5mm but also because 3D printed. So with the MR105zz both ends of the gear shaft are supported thus more accurate extrusion. How well it lasts in the long run, ime will tell… so far so good though.Due to the space the bearing is taking, the idler needed a bit of modification. You can modify the existing idler to fit also. The spacers are optional. I use the smaller spacer to lock the bearing in the body by welding it to the body with soldering iron.OpenSCAD source: https://github.com/spegelius/Original-Prusa-i3/blob/MK3S_extruder_remix/Printed-Parts/SCAD/extruder_remix.scad
