MK3s Hemera upgrade
thingiverse
It is a customized version of MK3s to Hemera upgrade based on the following links: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4058436 https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4031637 Additionally, it enables the use of filament sensors with it, but this feature is still experimental. The idea behind it is to utilize two 9mm magnets to keep the lever stable by pressing against the extruder lever. Hemera's lever consistently moves a fixed distance regardless of the knob setting. The PINDA probe has been relocated to maintain the x-axis configuration similar to the original MK3s setup. To implement this upgrade, you will need to make firmware modifications as per E3D's tutorial, incorporating the following changes: 1. Change LANG_MODE to 0. 2. Modify #define X_PROBE_OFFSET_FROM_EXTRUDER from 23 to 26. 3. Update Y_PROBE_OFFSET_FROM_EXTRUDER from 5 to -33.8. Refer to the E3D guide for more information: https://e3d-online.dozuki.com/Guide/Prusa+i3+MK3+Firmware+Modifications/141?lang=en Note that XYZ calibration will not function after this upgrade, so you will need to employ mesh bed leveling and first-layer calibration to initiate printing. The upgrade also includes .step files for personal modifications.
