MK3S extruder for Prusa Mini
thingiverse
I had an idea the other day..... wouldn't it be cool to port over the dual gear extruder and filament sensor of the i3 MK3S onto my Prusa Mini? Well, now you can. You'll need: Bondtech gears: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0757HSR6X/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Filament Sensor: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07PYQWGK1/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Also, you'll need a PC4-M10 festo fitting for the output side of the extruder for the bowden connection. The firmware for this mod is attached, you'll need to cut the appendix to flash the firmware. So instead of shelling out big bucks on a bondtech extruder, now you can get both the extruder and filament sensor in a compact package for under $30. If you want to chain up all the way through to the hotend, here's the chain and hotend bracket: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4614287 -Just don't print the extruder body, it's not needed with the MK3S design. GCODE: This runs on a stock i3 MK3S
