MK3s Extruder Carriage for Bear X-axis [RJ4JP Mod]
thingiverse
Though my initial design for the R4 series Prusa MK3s extruder carriage has performed well, I had to make adjustments when using it with Igus RJ4JP bushings, as they resulted in excessive play on the extruder. This modification enhances my original design by narrowing both the length and diameter of the bearing slots to provide a snug fit around the Igus RJ4JP bushings. The bearings now securely snap into place in this carriage and cannot wiggle around like they did with the default dimensions used in Prusa designs. A few minor modifications are included to improve printability without affecting the functionality of the part. As with the original carriage, over-tightening the back can still cause the polymer bushings to become bound up. To avoid this issue, you must experiment with screw tension when tightening the back and ensure the carriage remains free-moving.
