MK3 Zaribo Extruder Guide for Flexible Filaments
thingiverse
I finally made the move to Zaribo for my X axis and wanted to bring some mods along. One of those mods is reducing the gap between the BondTech gears and PTFE tube leading to the hotend, a crucial adjustment that prevents flexible or softened filaments from diverting from the filament path. Additionally, this mod ensures the PTFE tube stays securely inside the cold end since Prusa doesn't include a collet clip to hold it in place. There are two versions available: A full-body mod and a small Flex cap similar to my stock design. I have only printed and tested the full-body version, so use the cap at your own risk! The Zaribo design has one idler screw, which makes me unsure how securely the cap will stay in place. I've recently added a new R3 modded version of the Zaribo Extruder Body. This updated design integrates a flex mod that keeps the PTFE tube in place and brings the body even closer to the BondTech gears.
