This design was created to allow me to continue printing normally from the stock spool holder or to feed in filament from my Sunlu S2 dry box. I use the bowden configuration when printing hydrophilic filaments like Nylon.  The M10 hole is mounted at an angle to reduce stresses and provide a natural path to the extruder. You can self-thread in any generic PC4-M10x1.5 fitting.
