MK3 Pi Camera Ball and Socket Support
thingiverse
I really loved the design of MoonDoggy's ball and socket links but wasn't keen on attaching it directly to the motor, so I opted for a mount based at the base instead. After some research, I stumbled upon zcubed's clever modification, which was perfect - however, I had one major issue with its three-part structure and decided that combining two pieces would be a much better approach. The main component here is my modified 3030 mount, which can still utilize the "nut" from zcubed's design. The final piece involved adjusting the ball and socket to achieve a stronger hold - I increased the size of the ball by 2% and widened the opening in the socket slightly to avoid any breakage when combined. As a result, there are three updated STL files that incorporate this modification, available for anyone who might need them as well.
