This project was designed using google sketchup, a tool that proved to be somewhat challenging to master. For those who are interested in creating their own designs, I'd love to hear your suggestions on how to improve mine. Printing Help: Tips for Successful Printing with the Ender 2 When printing this badge, I used an ender 2. The results were excellent, thanks to a few key adjustments. Two mm of extra height was added at the bottom to allow for easy removal of excess material when fitting the badge to your car. To secure the badge to the car, I used 1.5mm thick 3M tape. This provided a strong and reliable bond. The printing process involved using layer heights of 0.2mm and 0.1mm. Simply adjust the number of top layers to achieve the desired thickness. For the final layer, I printed with zero walls, resulting in a smoother finish during my testing phase. Support was only necessary for areas where bridging occurred. The sloped sections proved to be perfectly fine without support in my testing. An oval ring was also printed using 0.1 layer height. Higher settings resulted in an unsatisfactory shape that lacked smoothness.
