MK3 Differential Swerve (2.377lbs)

This design takes the next step forward by incorporating improvements made in my MK2 Differential while introducing a few key upgrades of my own. The standout feature over its predecessor is the significant decrease in mechanical backlash present in the updated design. This reduction in backlash enables easier control of the swerve, providing a more precise and responsive experience. Furthermore, the overall height of the design has been reduced by a substantial inch, making it sleeker and more compact. Notably, the weight has also decreased from 2.845 lbs to 2.377 lbs due to the strategic use of a different differential setup. By implementing this modification, I was able to not only reduce the overall part count but also minimize the number of unique parts required (from 35 to 27).
