Mk23 triggerguard holster - Left Handed/Right Handed
thingiverse
I'd like to thank Scuall for creating the base part, he's truly the one who made everything happen. After printing the basic version I reworked the model: First, I converted it to a left-handed version for my friend using the STTi version; however, I didn't try it with the TM version. [EDIT 15/05/2019] Several users have provided feedback that the Tokyo Marui versions don't fit, so if you modify this please share your updates with others. I won't be using the base part with a hook because I plan to use a real belt plate attached via the M4 holes. Here's my step-by-step guide for modifying the model: 1. Merge all the bodies together into one cohesive unit. 2. Adjust some dimensions to improve stability and design, adding shims as needed based on the shape of the blocks. 3. Modify the trigger clip by rounding the bottom for easier opening; add a lug for more practical use with your finger. 4. Redesign the block under the trigger guard to make it more ergonomic. I recommend testing the replica extensively and adjusting the angles that cause friction. All these modifications result in a stronger PLA HD version, with assembly screw holes left intact to secure screws and increase overall strength. [EDIT 10/05/2019] I've added the right-handed version to a zip file for easy download.
