MK2 heatbed adjustable spring mount

MK2 heatbed adjustable spring mount

thingiverse

This is a precision heatbed spring mount designed for MK2 (or similar) heatbed applications. Its parametrical design allows users to customize their exact hole offsets and spring diameters by adjusting the parameters in SETTINGS.scad. The result is an adjustable heatbed level that can be fine-tuned with just a screwdriver or hex-key, depending on the chosen screw type. To assemble this mount, you will need non-printable materials such as 4 (or 8) nuts, 4 screws approximately 30 mm long, and 4 (or 8) washers. The author used M3 screws and nuts for their model, so SETTINGS.scad contains parameters tailored to this specific size. If the heatbed holes have different distances from the edges in the x and y directions, users should adjust the al_hole_ofs_x and al_hole_ofs_y parameters accordingly, resulting in two mirrored pieces: a square piece and a piece with a corner mark.
