MK2 E-Bike Battery Pack for 40 Cells and BMS ebike
thingiverse
Hey, After gaining valuable experience with my pack, I made significant changes to its design and implemented several structural improvements. There are three chassis designs available for users. Like the previous version, it consists of three printed parts: a frame's bottle cage mount, a battery chassis, and a chassis lid. Please refer to the attached picture to see how the cells are arranged. XT90 connectors are used for charging and discharging, while XT30 connectors are used for connecting a thermistor. This can be placed central and between the cells to monitor temperature during charging. The lid and the chassis can be glued or welded together using a soldering iron at low temperatures. Before printing, ensure that your battery's dimensions are suitable. Use brim with this model and supports where needed. Possible configurations include: - 10S4P for 36V - 13S3P for 48V - 20S2P for 72V Materials required: - 40 cells of 18650 Li-Ion Batteries, such as INR18650 from NKON; total capacity of ~360Wh - A BMS (Battery Management System) for 72V, available on eBay - XT90 anti-spark connectors from Hobbyking - Glue for XT connectors, such as epoxy - Wiring Dimensions: - Length: ~286mm - Height: ~100mm - Width: ~76mm Part Status: Approved
