MK2.5 BMG Mod - Bear Upgrade X-Axis
thingiverse
I've installed it today and can confirm that it is working perfectly on a full Bear Frame. This is no longer a work in progress situation. You still need to ensure proper cable management to prevent collisions with the Electronics Enclosure. If you're not using the stock noctua fan, you must also use sunk screws for the fan as seen in the pictures. I was searching for the BMG-Mod by "Drodfro" for my MK2.5 Bear Upgrade and could only find one X-Carriage that had been remixed by "OGAwesomer." Unfortunately, it hadn't been tested. I've compared it to the MK2.5 Carriage of the Bear X-Axis v0.6 and noticed some minor differences in the alignment of the Cable Bundle and Endstop Trigger. This could cause the cable bundle to collide with the frame or electronics housing and prevent the endstop from being activated. If you're using the Full Bear Upgrade, it might work because it has a bit more space to the frame. However, if you're using the half upgrade or the stock MK2.5, you should opt for my remixed parts instead. Please note that these are not yet tested. The files I've uploaded provide the necessary offset again. They're for the short Version (Bear X-Axis), and you'll need to reprint at least the Carriage and the lower back. The upper back wasn't modified.
