Make your own silicone insulator for mk10 hotends with heat blocks measuring 19x19x12.5 mm (Wanhao i3 etc.). I noticed a temperature drop in my hotend when the cooling fan was on maximum. Using this silicone insulator completely solved the problem, and it also helps the hotend heat up faster and maintain its temperature. You'll need: Curing liquid silicone rubber ~ 15 g 4 m3 nuts and bolts if using the 2-part mould base Vaseline for mould release if using the 1-part mould base You can use either a 2-part or a 1-part mould base. If you choose the 1-part, make sure to apply a thin layer of vaseline or other mould release to help demoulding. I recommend applying vaseline to the insert too. Enjoy!
