Adaptor for using larger M-18 inductive sensors (8mm sensing distance on steel) instead of the M-12 (4mm sensing distance). This allows stock 2.2mm borosilicate glass that comes with Wanhao D9 to be placed directly on aluminum bed and recognized by sensor! Tried this setup with slightly thicker piece of glass (about 3.5mm), will not register. Must use with 2.5 or less, luckily a perfectly cut and sized piece is standard with D9 after stripping all other layers off. Ordering new sensor, it's a PNP NO 6-36vdc 8mm sensing distance, 18mm body diameter. They cost about $8. Need an M8x1.25 button head screw or similar, 10-15mm long is fine.
