Mk1 90mm Micro Quad

Mk1 90mm Micro Quad

Building my very first Quad was an expensive lesson in humility - I'm a terrible pilot, barely able to hover for five seconds without crashing. I now have a deep respect for all the skilled pilots out there. I'm thrilled with how it turned out. My goal was to utilize my 3D printer and create a design that was both functional and visually stunning. The 3D printed frame mounts, made from blue TPU, weigh in at under six grams - according to my rough calculations. The Quad's total dry weight comes in at a mere 49 grams. Working on this RC hobby project has been an incredibly rewarding experience, teaching me so much along the way. Once I've upgraded my piloting skills by practicing with this mini Quad, I plan to tackle a more challenging project - building a 5-inch freestyle mini quad.
