Mk 1-2 Command/Service Module
thingiverse
I really enjoy KSP and wanted a desk model of the CSM I always use. Originally, I used a program called ninja ripper to rip the assets from the game and import them into 3DS Max, but they were very low poly and I wanted the texture details, so I ended up just re-modeling it in Inventor. So anyway, here's my KSP model. Note that ninja ripper isn't mine, I just used it to come up with profiles for revolutions. I scaled it up 8 times as the .stl was exported fairly small. The holes in the bottom of the engine and top of the fuel tank are for an alignment pin, the one I created originally was too long, so I'll put an updated version up when I fix it. I just hot glued the two pieces together.
