Mjolnir, Thor's hammer amulet (torshammare)
thingiverse
This amulet draws inspiration from the numerous Thor's Hammers we've discovered from the Viking age that were worn as a tribute to the Norse god. Though not historically accurate, the markings are derived from a find on the Danish island of Bornholm. I designed it to be slightly thicker than the historical silver example, giving it some weight at the end of a leather cord. The hole is large enough for a substantial cord. For a more realistic hang, you could incorporate small ball bearings as weights during printing or print with a high infill percentage. To finish, I used primer filler spray followed by antique nickel spray paint. It would look great with a black wash applied afterwards. Fusion360 files are included in the package.
