Took januszeko's original, and decided I wanted to make a metal version. First tried making a thin back that could be glued to his original to make it two sided. It worked but not for sand casting (third stl file). You can still print that and glue it to his original and it will look pretty nice and have a back. I redesigned it so that it would be two halves of the original that can be easily connected together. I would lose the side details, but couldn't see a way to avoid that with sandcasting. Guide I used for building a forge: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FmEb1YZScxc&t=305s&ab_channel=NightHawkInLight Guide I used for sand casting: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2CIcvB72dmk&t=672s&ab_channel=CastingtheFuture All total worked great. I melted down some beer cans and was able to turn it into a pretty sweet necklace. I did have to drill a hole for the necklace to pass through the peice. Few hints/lessons I learned the hard way: -no one sells talcum powder anymore ever since the cancer thing, so I used corn starch -don't print it in white because you won't be able to see the corn starch -There are pegs to match up the design, the pegs will not be strong enough to counteract you packing down sand. use crazy glue in addition -beer and soda cans are about 50% slag by volume, get all of your friends to start collecting tabs, and when you have enough use that.
