MJAPMM - just another "Perpetual Motion Machine"
grabcad
A perpetual motion machine has been an elusive goal since Da Vinci's time, designed to continuously move without external input. During a client wait, I conceived this project, inspired by natural phenomena like planetary orbits. The two-body problem in astrophysics influenced my design, incorporating elements such as angular velocity, distance and gravitational influence, and momentum/inertia. A theoretical solution to the "brake" effect is also included. I'm working on a paper detailing this system and plan to modify a previous C++ program for simulation purposes. The 3D model is for experimentation and not representative of the final design.
