I borrowed the idea from my son's toy called a 'Saxoflute' and designed the pieces to fit with it perfectly. Some of the parts are mirrored, while others were created entirely by me. The finger pieces have raised holes that make playing much easier. Unfortunately, the whistle part needs some improvement, but I'm not complaining. Since I'm not a trumpet player, adding a trumpet-style mouthpiece was an exciting challenge for me. However, the 180-degree and 45-degree pieces didn't turn out well when printed, possibly because the inner surface was too rough. I'd love to see others come up with creative additional compatible parts, so please share your designs if you do! One thing on my mind is making a trombone-style slide. Perhaps someone else will beat me to it?
