Up-cycling the Filament Box into a mix media art piece with minimal art supplies and 3D printed embellishments.Can be used as greeting cards, Wall hanging, or Desk decor...Print instructionsFinal Size: 15cm15cm2.5cmAll that required:Filament box - Square cut out of 15cm*15cm3D printed ButterfliesWhite Glue, Masking tapeWatercolors or Acrylic colors along with a paintbrushWoolen threadsWhite paper as background for ButterfliesScissors, Ruler, Pen/PencilGreeting tagProcess of making Butterfly Mix Media art:Cut a square shape out of the Filament box.Remove the top layer of a cardboard box to get the look of a reinforced layer on the topside.Make some random sizes cut-outs (rectangular | square) and layer those randomly on a square cardboard base with glue.Apply a coat of White Gesso or White Acrylic paint on the entire layered Cardboard base.Once Dry, apply random colors on it in a fashion of Rainbow scheme (any Water or acrylic color will work)3D print the butterflies and add a layer of paper at the backside of it. Pinch wings of 4 of the butterflies towards inside to give it a different look. keep rest of the 4 as Flat.Glue the pinched butterflies over the Flat ones, making 4 pairs of butterflies.Tie woolen threads of different colors using White glue or masking tape. (Secure ends of threads on backside)Glue the butterflies on a Cardboard base and add the greeting.Mix Media Butterfly Art is all Ready!!!
