Mix and Match Light-up Pins 5mm LED

We're always on the lookout for family-friendly maker activities that require minimal initial instructions and can be easily reproduced at a low cost. The original project by Colleen Bikini was perfect, so we tweaked its files after our first run of robots to make it work better with the 5mm LEDs we have on hand. Last summer, we decided LED fireworks pins would make an ideal 4th of July maker activity and used the base setup as a starting point. We then designed fireworks around it, which proved to be a huge hit with over 50 adults who dropped in and made pins within half an hour. The Fireworks are also built for a 5mm LED.
