Mitxela Precision Clock Mounting Brackets
thingiverse
The Mitxela.com Precision Clock is a super cool and fun project to build, but I thought it could use some better stand or wall mounts than the slots in the PCB. I designed these brackets to serve for either a wall mount or a table stand application, and they fit very precisely into the space between the LED segment and the PCB, gripping the PCB securely on the top and bottom edges. The 'GPS' Top Clamp has a spot for an optional active GPS antenna, with a recessed area that fits the RF shield on the active antenna snugly. I was able to pop mine into place without worrying about it coming out on its own. The 'Plate' file has all the parts laid out for a single print run. Position the brackets behind the 4th LED segment from each end, and attach the top caps to the main bracket with #4 x 1/2" wood screws. The feet attach to the main bracket with #4 x 5/8" wood screws.
