Mitutoyo digital calipers battery cover

This is my initial design for a battery cover, intended as a starting point for repairs. The files provided here are not the final product; they're meant to serve as a foundation for further modification. My calipers' battery contacts are damaged, and I created this cover to facilitate repair. My goal is to modify it to include a coin cell holder on top and attach new contacts that reach into the calipers in place of the broken ones. Use your discretion when setting up print settings, as the design consists mainly of solid sections with some intricate details. I've included STL/STEP files as well as the FreeCAD file, allowing others to modify it according to their needs.
