I Replaced the dovetail back on my Mitutoyo Test Dial Indicator. The magnetic base and arm from China didn't fit perfectly, so I made an adjustment that now works for me. There are two versions of this adapter available, depending on your measurement needs. The angle back has enough clearance to fit my indicator's mount, but it may not be suitable for everyone.
