Mitsubishi Pajero replacement knob and latches for tailgate and 3rd seat mechanism covers

My trusty 2015 Mitsubishi Pajero was missing its tailgate inside trim cover and the covers for the 3rd seat mechanism, so I decided to break it down and rethink the whole design of some spare parts. After scouring numerous Mitsubishi forums, which repeatedly warned about how easily they break and how pricey they are to replace, I knew I had to act fast. These redesigned spares will fit models all the way back to 2006. I whipped up the new designs in Designspark Mechanical, a free download that's incredibly user-friendly and my go-to CAD program for any 3D printing project. As a bonus, I've included both the DesignSpark files and STL files for easy printing - they're ready to roll as soon as you hit print. To make sure everything stays securely in place, I redesigned the back of the knob to take a washer and screw instead of relying on that flimsy clip. Hopefully, this DIY solution will come in handy for anyone facing similar issues.
