The Mitsubishi L-300, also known as Colt in Indonesia, is part of the Delica range produced by Japanese automaker Mitsubishi since 1968. Initially based on a cabover van and pickup truck introduced in 1967, it derives its name from a contraction of "Delivery car." Marketed as the L300 (later L400) in Europe, Jamaica, and New Zealand, Express and Starwagon in Australia, and Mitsubishi Van and Wagon in the US, this versatile vehicle has variously been called Delica Star Wagon until 1994, when it became known as Space Gear. The current iteration is the Delica D:5, available only as a passenger car. Despite four generations, all five versions continue to be sold globally.
