This is a housing for Mitsubishi keys with a broken rubber housing. The plastic holder with immobilizer chip and metal key can be pressed inside this housing, closed up with the cap and secured with a key ring. I forgot to take pictures of the plastic holder and key itself; it's the same as in this thing: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1699540 My first attempt looked similar to this thing: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2633377, but couldn't withstand daily use, so I tried this approach, which is currently being tested. In order for the key to fit properly into the housing, the immobilizer chip needs to be on the side where two little markings are included inside the housing. Otherwise, the cap won't fit. Also, make sure to remove support properly on surfaces where part 1 and 2 are touching, maybe even with a file or sandpaper; it's a tight fit. There are two versions of part 1: one more angular and one rounded off. Choose whichever you like. Line support is relatively easy to remove in this case. I used PLA, but you might want to consider using a material that can handle higher temperatures like ABS or PETG, in case the key is sitting in a hot car for a while. Note: In my case, it's a 2000 Mitsubishi Space Star - key style used in many other models.
