Mitsubishi A6M2 model 21 for microarmor
thingiverse
The iconic Japanese Zero fighter aircraft is renowned for its sleek design and exceptional performance capabilities, particularly considering its relatively modest power output compared to other planes like the Buffalo and Warhawk. A detailed 1/100 scale model of this legendary aircraft was created using Blender 2.79b software, allowing for precise rendering in three dimensions. To generate a suitable STL file, the model was scaled down to 35% of its original size. As a reference point, standard 15mm dice were used to provide a visual comparison with the model's proportions. Unfortunately, printing the nose-up at a 15-degree angle proved to be a poor decision, as it led to weakened structural components, including the cowl and spinner, which tended to break apart simply by being handled.
