A Mitre box is useful for cutting 2020 extrusion using a hand hacksaw if you forget to order laser-cutting services. Guides should be crafted from 6 mm steel cylinders, preferably hardened steel, which can also serve as temporary solutions with metal drills. There are two versions: one for pure cylinder guides and another for guides with cutted ages, indicated by the "_cylinder" suffix in file names. The first version is suitable if you plan to use drilling bits, while the second option involves cutting engine cylinders to increase contact surface, a good idea when working with non-hardened steel like cheapest bolts. Several options exist for fixing an extruder. You can use M5 bolts along with brass knurled inserts, such as M5 6x6, which push down on the central part of the profile but may leave visible scratches, especially on black extrusions. Alternatively, you can opt for M5 bolts paired with T nuts, which is likely the most optimal method to cut extrusion without leaving noticeable scratches.
