The Mithraeum Votive Altar is a low-poly model inspired by an actual discovery in Saint Clemente's Basilica. Mithraea, or grotto temples, were sites for the Mithraic Mysteries cult, which worshipped Mithras - a Roman deity with possible Persian and Vedic connections. This 3D project features a detailed model with UV mapping and textures, as well as displacement and normal maps at 4096x4096 resolution. The downloadable Mithraeum_Altar.zip includes the Mithraeum_Votive_Altar_LP.obj model file and seven associated textures/materials.
