If this design is useful for you, please like it and consider following me for more updates. This is a v-block for holding round stock on a Chicago Electric 10" compound miter saw. I designed it as I was having trouble cutting through the raw stock, and getting a cut all the way through. This tool allows the raw stock to be raised 3/4" from the bed and held firmly in place with a clamp. The mounting slot is adjustable and used for either side of the cutting blade to support the material on both sides. Additionally, 1/4" marks on the V allow a user to set up and re-verify the distance before cutting. The base measures 5" x 7", and is 1.45" tall, with a 130 degree V-Slot. The bolt slot is designed for 3/8" bolts with fender washers and will require a washer and nut for the underside of the saw.
