This miter jig is designed specifically for use with the Proxxon IBS/E grinder, which comes equipped with 38mm grinder discs from Dremel (SpeedClick). Its purpose is to efficiently cut small screws, bolts, rods, and other similar materials. Picture 1 demonstrates how the components are arranged for printing. Picture 2 showcases all the required hardware except for the grinder itself. The torsion bar is crafted from 2mm spring steel. To assemble the jig, start by making the legs longer than necessary, then cut them back to 18mm after bending. It's essential to achieve accuracy when setting the distance between the 18mm legs (109mm ±1mm). Next, bend the two 18mm long legs at a 90° angle; the orientation of these legs is not crucial. Follow the pictures in order by their assigned numbers. The clamping device has been separated from the jig to make it easy to create and modify your own design.
