Miter Box 5 (fully parametric)
thingiverse
Remix of the original Miter Box for X-Acto Saw (Parametric) by wsy. This version corrects some missing formulations, automatically placing reinforcement cylinders and slots that can now be placed off-center. The sample SLT comes with one 90-degree slot and two 45-degree slots, as I typically design right angles. Dimensions: Length - 150mm, Width - 20mm, Height - 15mm. You can personalize overall dimensions, saw slot placement, angle, and size by editing parameters. Simply open the file in OpenSCAD, modify commented variables as desired, and it's surprisingly easy. Tested in PLA and works flawlessly. All credit goes to the original author (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:473666), as I've only applied trigonometry to allocate non-automated dimensions. This is my first OpenSCAD project beyond changing variables in others' projects, so it may need polishing and is provided "as is". Please contact me if something doesn't compute, and I'll try to fix it. Cheers, Jose
