"Mission impossible" puzzle
thingiverse
The puzzle appears straightforward at first glance, but it's actually quite challenging. You have twelve blocks in total - two distinct flavors - with six blocks measuring 2x2x3 units and the other six measuring 1x2x4 units. Your goal is to pack these blocks into a compact 5x5x5 box. By doing some simple math, you'll notice that any solution will inevitably leave behind five holes of unit size. Although this leaves some extra space, the puzzle still presents a significant challenge. This is why it's known as "Mission Impossible." Can you find a way to solve it? SPOILER ALERT: One photograph contains the solution!
