A critical part, the rear axle lockout, for the 1/10 scale HobbyKing Mission-D 4WD GTR drift car had failed repeatedly. The manufacturer's part was in short supply due to high demand and backorders. To overcome this issue, I intend to design and print a functional replacement using PLA plastic and then cast it in aluminum.
