Miss Minutes Coaster
prusaprinters

A Miss Minutes drink coaster I made. The coaster itself is 100mm inside diameter with a 2mm high lip around the outside. Each color is separated into their own file for printing and assembly with some CA or Super Glue.

Designed in Fusion 360 and printed on my Artillery Sidewinder in various PETG I had on hand.

I uploaded in both 3mf and stl. Feel download whichever one works best for you.

Print Settings

Printer:

Artillery Sidewinder X1

Rafts:

No

Supports:

No

Resolution:

.2

Infill:

15

Filament: Prusa and Polymaker PETG Galaxy Black, Orange, White

Notes:

The Coaster Base I printed in Prusament Galaxy Black PETG with adaptive layer height enabled to save some time.

The Face was printed in Polymaker's Polylite Orange PETG. This one I flipped upside down and printed with the top face on the build plate as I wanted the smooth surface when it was assembled. I printed this one at .2mm layer height for the slight chamfers around the edges to aid with assembly and it really wasn't saving much time according to the slicer to bother with adaptive layers.

The Whites Eyes Mouth file contains the five white pieces for the eyes and mouth. I used Polymaker PolyLite White PETG. Again I rotated the model and printed these top side down for the smoother final surface. I did slow this print speed down a little since they're small pieces and it only took 15 minutes to print. Calibration Notes. My slicers profile has been calibrated with a .1mm XY Size Compensation for Holes for accounting for inner diameter shrink of my printing profiles. Something similar may be needed for achieving the slip fit for the pieces.

Category: 3D Printing
