Problem Solvers Mismatch Adapter 1.0, optimized for 3D printing, is available at http://problemsolversbike.com/products/mismatch_adapters. This adapter allows you to mount certain SRAM shifters and Shimano (hydraulic) brake levers together without using two separate band clamps. The right side model is being showcased here. Problem Solvers claims that the 1.0 variant will work with Shimano brakes such as BL-M985, BL-M988, BL-M820, BL-M785, BL-T785, BL-M675, BL-T675, BL-M640, and BL-M596. In general, this adapter is suitable for Shimano I-Spec Brakes (2012 & earlier) paired with SRAM Matchmaker Shifters. Print Settings: - Supports: No - Resolution: highest possible - Infill: 100 I designed this product by borrowing a sample from a friend and then copying the measurements. Problem Solvers is credited for their high-quality machining and round numbers. However, I had to estimate the curvature for certain parts. The M5 holes were also resized to be slightly larger for 3D printing purposes. Assembly & Materials: - Print as many copies as needed (1x, 2x drivetrain). Ensure that you mirror the part for left/right setups (2x) since this is a right-side adapter. - Per shifter/brake combination: - x2 M5 x 8 mm bolts - x1 M5 brake lever clamp nut (specialized square nut; refer to instructions) Instructions can be found at http://problemsolversbike.com/files/tech/1561_PRO_MisMatch_Instr.pdf. The square nut may be proprietary and is either included with the Shimano brake levers or available from Problem Solvers or a hardware store. It may be necessary to file down the slots for a proper fit.
