Mismatch 2.2
thingiverse
Update April 13th, 2020: After conducting extensive real-world testing, I have introduced a new version (v8.stl) that boasts increased strength, more material, and enhanced bracing, resulting in significantly reduced flex. This design perfectly aligns with Shimano's I-Spec II or EV shifters to seamlessly integrate with SRAM MatchMaker X brakes. Following the acquisition of a new shifter and drivetrain, an adapter was necessary; however, the Mismatch 2.2 version was unavailable for purchase (I wanted to challenge myself by modeling/making one anyway). The outcome exceeded expectations, demonstrating remarkable strength that requires considerable force to snap it apart. While some flex is still present, this can be attributed to its plastic composition rather than metal. To successfully print this design: - Utilize the original MatchMaker X silver plate component along with a bolt - Employ an M4 x 15mm bolt - Include both an M4 washer and nut in the assembly Printing guidelines recommend using 100% infill plus support for optimal results.
